Diese Schmuckbildcollage mit einem Anhänger entstand 1986 in Südafrika während eines mehrjährigen Afrika Aufenthaltes.

The materials of this artwork are 14ct gold, Diamonds, Pearls, Ivory and Ebony. The size of the whole picture is approximately 33cm X 29cm.

Die Schmuckbildcollage besteht aus 14ct Gold, Diamanten, Zuchtperlen, Elfenbein und Ebenholz. Der Bilderrahmen hat eine Größe von ungefähr 33cm X 29cm.

The seahorse takes pearls out of the sea to finance its journey. For moving overland it choses butterfly wings. In former times the butterfly was the animal who stole the butter and the cream. You can sea the belly full with butter and cream.
The seahorse protects itself by the Cobra-head Mimikry in the butterfly wings.

Das Seepferd steigt aus dem Meer und nimmt sich Perlen mit aus dem Meer. Um sich auf dem Land fortzubewegen legt es sich Schmetterlingsflügel zu. Schmetterling heißt im Englischen butterfly und war früher das Orakeltier das die Butter und den Rahm stiehlt. Wen Sie das Seepferd genau Betrachten können Sie den Bauch mit Butter und Rahm sehen. Das Seepferd schützt sich durch die Kobra-Kopf Darstellung im Schmetterlingsflügel.
